Steeped in tradition, Adrian Sheerin is a seventh-generation butcher at one of the country’s oldest family run businesses. Sheerin’s Meatin Place was established in the late 1700’s. A modern butcher with traditional values, Adrian and his team only sell the highest quality local produce.
His passion paired with his quality aged meats had led to an extensive array of awards both nationally and internationally. One of the highlights of his career was being crowned a “Knight” in Normandy thanks to his prizewinning chorizo sausage.
Sheerin’s Meatin Place is famous for Quality. Our dry aged meats are hung for up to SEVEN WEEKS making them the tastiest and most tender meats around. All our bacon is dry cured by hand and we only stock the best local produce.
Sheerin’s Meatin Place is tucked away in the small tourist town of Ballymote in South Sligo. Our online store now makes it possible for you to order your Christmas meat from the comfort of your home on your phone or PC.
